On Tuesday, May 11th, from 12pm – 1pm, we’ll be hosting a lunch and learn with Malvina Rapko, Founding Cultural Officer of Cultural Bridges Inc., here in Saskatoon.
Diversity in the workplace is not a new thing. Over the past 15+ years Saskatchewan has experienced a large increase in global immigration. Saskatchewan workplaces are more diverse than ever before. Even those that are not quite there, are making diversity a priority.
With such a focus on diversity you’d think that inclusion would be a process that evolves naturally just by being a bi-product of diversity. However, that doesn’t seem to be the case. We may have movement and momentum with diversity but we are still far from having actual inclusion in the workplace and beyond.
In this workshop, Malvina will introduce the concept of Cultural Intelligence (CQ®) as a method for creating the type of workplace inclusion needed in order to leverage diversity to a place where everyone feels truly valued. Improving Ethnocultural Connections in the Workplace, is an interactive presentation that will provide attendees with ideas on how to improve workplace inclusion.
**If you can’t attend live, no problem. A recording will be sent to all who register.
